Rick Baldomero

Rick Baldomero is the owner of Baldomero Photography & Graphics in Marshall, Illinois. Rick, born in Brooklyn New York, grew up in North Miami Beach, Florida and has lived in the Midwest since 1990. Rick is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate’s in Applied Science degree in Visual Communications, and a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Art.

Baldomero who has worked as a Graphic Artist for several label and print companies and local newspapers is an Adjunct Instructor at Ivy Tech. He has taught several photography classes at Ivy Tech including; Studio, Advanced Studio, Digital, Studio Lighting and Basic Black & White Photography. In addition, during the summers of 2008 and 2009, taught numerous art classes at the Swope Summer Youth Art Program (SYAP) in Terre Haute.

Rick has shown work numerous times in juried shows and group shows over the years in several galleries including Halcyon, Arts Illiana, Indiana State University, and the Gaslight Art Colony. Baldomero credits Petra Nyendick of Halcyon Gallery with encouraging him to participate in showing his work professionally in art galleries.

Baldomero currently serves on the Marshall Main Street Board of Directors, Marshall Main Street Design Committee, Gaslight Art Colony Board of Directors, and the Visual Communications Board at Ivy Tech.
