The title of Reed’s M.F.A. thesis exhibition was From the Periphery. This was also the title of his supportive statement that accompanied the exhibit.  Copies of his supportive statement are available in the stacks at Milner Library, Illinois State University, Normal, IL.

Reed has been actively exhibiting work and teaching since the completion of his M.F.A.  The artist taught painting and drawing at Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois, and Illinois State University from the Fall semester of 2008 until the end of the Fall semester of 2010.  Reed is currently teaching at Mchenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Todd was just recently featured in the publication New American Paintings, book number 83 in September of 2009.  Reed has also just completed a major solo exhibition titled Bits of Visions at the Contemporary Art Center in Peoria Illinois.  In addition to the current/upcoming exhibit at the Gas Light gallery in Marshall, the artist will be having a solo show at the Mchenry County College art Gallery.
