As an artist I find a lot of comfort in that quote, because as an artist I am my own worst enemy, my own worst critic. I never used to give myself a break, that is until I met my wife, Karla.
Karla has taught me how to accept my work and to understand that art is what it is. She showed me how to enjoy the success and the failures in my art and how to have fun with the process and for that I am eternally grateful.
I am a professional graphic artist, so my work tends to be more illustrative. I love Science Fiction, so I gravitate toward art with space ships set in the heavens soaring past ringed planets on fantastic adventures. I am a long-time amateur photographer, so I love to view life through the lens.
In my more romantic moments, I believe that in some respect we are all artists in our own ways, some paint, some draw, some cook, some build bridges and buildings but we are all artists and with that we all "get away" with a certain amount in our art. I hope you like my offerings.
