His work has been displayed at the Tarble Arts Center of Eastern Illinois University, Bicentennial Art Center in Paris, Illinois, Steeple Art Gallery in Monticello, Illinois, Lake Land College Photography Competitions, and the Illinois State Town & Country Competition.
Born in 1954, early on, Tom began to "see" with his mind's eye those scenes that most of us take for granted and never really notice in our day to day travels through the rural setting of east central Illinois. His capture of images that appear from within our daily routine is what makes his photography unique. A simple barn or country road, take on a new perspective when seen through the lens of Tom's camera. His love of nature is quite evident in his photographic interpretations of the outdoors.
Tom has won several awards including multiple first place awards in the Professional category at the Lake Land College Annual Photography Competition.
