Alexander B. Kitano

Alexander B. Kitano is from Gram and his mother still lives there.  He is an inmate at a state penitentiary.  We know little about how he came to be such a great artist.  He does not talk about himself much or about his art.  He just sketches the photos that we send to him and sends the sketch back on whatever he can find to sketch on.  Alex would rather talk about the Lord and write about his faith than about his personal life.  He has been a Christian for about a year.  He has had no art training that we know.  It is simply a gift that God has given to him.  He has an out (release) date and will be going back to Gram when he is released.  At one time Alex and Clyde Thompson were cellmates and that is how we met Alex.
